Here's to more surprises. :)
I remember at the "Popmart" tour, they did this as the last song, and the screen featured yellow stick figures with holes in their chests. They would arm wrestle with each other and one would pull the other through the hole in his chest. This went on all through the song until it got to the part you quoted.
Then, the stick figures moved to the side of the screen and the center was filled with a blue figure, arms outstretched, torn in half. I think it even had a rudimentary crown of thorns on its head. Blood dripped from the shredded torso. I remember weeping uncontrollably. His blood carries us, so we can carry each other. Thanks for reminding me.
